Primary School Program Overview

Our Language Arts program is designed to build a strong foundation in reading, writing, listening, speaking, and language development across all grade levels. Using a structured and systematic approach, students develop phonics and word study skills that support early literacy and fluency.

Through engaging, high-quality literature, students explore a wide range of fiction, nonfiction, and multi-genre texts, fostering deep comprehension and analytical thinking. The curriculum scaffolds instruction, gradually increasing in complexity to help students grow as independent readers and critical thinkers. Writing instruction is integrated with grammar lessons, reinforcing key language skills.

Our primary mathematics program emphasizes conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and problem-solving skills, equipping students with the tools to think critically and apply math in real-world contexts. The curriculum develops number sense, mental math strategies, and flexible thinking, ensuring a deep, intuitive understanding of mathematical concepts.

Students use visual models, bar modeling, and logical reasoning techniques to strengthen problem-solving skills across addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and geometry. By engaging with real-world applications, they build confidence, perseverance, and independence in tackling complex problems.

Our inquiry-based social studies program encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and actively engage with the world around them. Using interactive storytelling and hands-on activities, students develop historical awareness, geographic literacy, and civic understanding.

Through engaging discussions and real-world problem-solving, students explore historical events, diverse cultures, government systems, and key social concepts. The curriculum integrates nonfiction texts, visual resources, and experiential learning, helping students analyze perspectives, evaluate sources, and make meaningful connections to their own lives.

Our primary science program encourages students to think, explore, and investigate like scientists. By making observations, testing ideas, and drawing evidence-based conclusions, students develop problem-solving skills and scientific literacy, fostering appreciation for exploration, discovery, and innovation.

The curriculum is designed to spark curiosity by engaging students with real-world examples, interactive investigations, and hands-on experiments that bring scientific concepts to life. To support hands-on learning, families have the option to order lab kits, allowing students to conduct engaging, grade-appropriate experiments that complement their coursework.
